Pews, 1958, Columbia, SC
I started this Tumblr to accompany my main blog www.thetruthrenaissance.wordpress.com. It will basically consist of quotes, lyrics, links to my blog posts on wordpress, and random pictures of things I love (i.e. Ettiqute, Luxury Items, Quotes, Hip Hop, Women, Film, Music, African-American History, Fashion, etc). Basically, this site is full of what I like to call the "Aesthetics of my life".

Sidenote: This blog is inspired by Stevie Wonder's "If It's Magic" off the album "Songs in the Key of Life". Look it up.. Enjoy!

Segregated Lunch Counter. While waiting for a train to take him from Chattanooga to Memphis, a trip of some 400 miles, Elvis sits at the lunch counter to have some breakfast. The woman standing had ordered a sandwich for which she was waiting, but was not able to sit at the counter. Railroad station, Chattanooga, Tenn. July 4, 1956.© Alfred Wertheimer.
From a National Portrait Gallery and the Govinda Gallery exhibit, “Elvis at 21”, on view at the Portrait Gallery through Jan. 23, 2011.

Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider (1954)
I could watch pictures of this B24 all day. Pininfarina designed the body, and Lancia provided its own OHV V6 2.5 litre engine. Nothing screams “drive me across the green fields on a warm spring afternoon” more than this.
